- Opening and maintaining a current account - the Basic Bank Account.
- Provision of a debit card to operate the account.
- Account movement via cash machines in the European Union, home banking and BPI branches.
- Making deposits, withdrawals, payments for products and services, direct debits.
- Carrying out intra-bank transfers (transfers to the institution's own accounts) without restrictions on the number of operations that can be carried out.
- Carrying out interbank transfers (SEPA+ Credit Transfers and SEPA+ Standing Orders), through ATMs, with no restriction on the number of operations that can be carried out, and home banking (Online - BPI Net and BPI App Mobile Device), in which case there is a maximum of 24 national and European Union interbank transfers per calendar year.
- Transfers through payment applications operated by third parties (MB Way), with a limit of 5 transfers per month and an amount equal to or less than € 30 per transaction.
Other products or services not included in the Basic Bank Account may be contracted, subject to the fees and expenses provided for in the price list in force. The Basic Bank Account: cannot have a negative balance, cannot be used to contract overdraft facilities, and cannot be used beyond its balance (credit overruns). The credit overrun restriction does not apply to debit card transactions (e.g. toll payments).
The Maintenance fee for the Basic Bank Account is €4.24 per year, charged monthly at €0.34 commission plus €0.01 Stamp Duty (4%). The maintenance fee for a Basic Bank Account may not exceed 1% of the social support index.
